Over many years TNS has been investing in standardizing certain research methodologies and procedures for certain common research problems. Coupled with our years of experiences and the resultant database, we have created certain unique and powerful branded solutions to help our clients address their key marketing issues:

is our tool for concept and copy testing. It can be used in the early stage of creative conceptualizing as well as to test the final TV commercial. A database of over 8,000 pre-tests is available to compare and benchmark the performance of the client’s brand or concept.

NeedScope is branded solution to help you segment your market and optimally position your brands. While most companies use basic concepts of consumer segmentation based on consumer needs (cluster analysis being the most used and abused procedure to achieve this) very few have research tools which are sharp enough to sense and measure emotional needs in addition to the more obvious tangible functional needs.

Conversion Model helps our clients understand the strengths and vulnerabilities of the current brands through the concept of “commitment”. Commitment goes beyond satisfaction – history tells us that many satisfied customers still leave the brand and several dissatisfied customers continue to use the brand (though many a times continuously complaining ).

is our product to conduct customer satisfaction studies, again using the concept of commitment. Customer Score uses powerful statistical procedures to identify the key division of consumer satisfaction. The product also provides a tool for “what – if ” analysis for clients to understand the pay-offs in terms of improved satisfaction by instituting corrective action in certain specific areas.
